World Peace Preps Pranks with LMNO
By AJ Marechal
Metta World Peace is setting up a play for reality TV.
The Los Angeles Lakers basketball star has partnered with unscripted shingle LMNO Prods. to develop a hidden-camera prank series called "Metta World Pranks."
"Pranking and practical jokes are part of the athletic culture, so it comes naturally to Metta," said Eric Schotz, topper of LMNO. The shingle has experience in the hidden-cam genre, as it produced CBS series "I Get That A Lot" and "Fire Me... Please!" "Metta World Pranks" will be produced with World Peace's Artest Media Group.
Schotz continued: "Metta has a great sense of humor and this show will be a natural vehicle for him to showcase a side of his personality we don't get to see on the court."
The basketball player anticipates collaborating with fellow pro athletes for pranks on the program.
