It's not unusual for sassy senior sisters Mary Bartnicki, Josie Cavaluzzi and Teresa Dahlquist of OWN's "Golden Sisters" to disagree with each other. That's half the fun of watching the gals' reality show. However, it is unusual for sexy men to be the source of their squabbles.
Of course, sexy is subjective — and that's the problem.
According to Teresa and Josie, actor-director Woody Allen is hot stuff.
"I love his work, I love his sense of humor and he's got a lot of money," Josie said of her crush when the siblings stopped by TODAY Friday morning.
"What's not to love?" Teresa agreed. "He's smart, he's funny and he's rich! I love him."
Only he's not exactly Mary's idea of sexy.
"No, no, no — not at all," she insisted. "He's nothing to look at! And they're saying he's sexy? That's crazy. ... For them to say the sexiest man alive, that's crazy."
Besides, everyone knows that’s Adam Levine. So which famous man measures up to Mary's sexy standards?
"I love Jack Nicholson," the 82-year-old said with a smile and a faraway look before adding, "but he don't like old ladies."
Nicholson does have a reputation for dating much younger women, but Mary's younger sisters (at 74) didn't seem interested in him.
"I like Mel Brooks too," Teresa offered as a compromise. "Mel Brooks is good."
"Oh, my God! He's as old as me," Mary shot back.
Catch more banter from the ladies Friday night. Their year-end special, "Golden Sisters 2013 Countdown: Best Pop Culture Moments," airs 10 p.m. on OWN.
