Jan Lonsdale, Vice President Research and Story Development, directs the creative efforts of the research staff in pitching and developing stories for numerous television series and specials including: Fabulous Cakes (TLC); Unusual Suspects (Investigation Discovery); Amazing Medical Stories (TLC); IMPACT: Stories of Survival (Discovery Health); and Over Your Head (HGTV).

A member of the LMNO staff since 2003, Ms. Lonsdale also develops proposals for new programming, and has served as producer on one-hour specials “Manson’s Missing Victims,” and “My Kid is Smarter Than Me,” and as series producer for The Military Channel’s documentary series, “My War Diary.”

With a background in news and documentary production, she has written and produced for CBS News, field-produced for the NBC series, “Unsolved Mysteries,” and written for The Los Angeles Times, Emmy Magazine, and Written By, The Journal of the Writers Guild of America West.
